Refund policy

Return Policy for Personalized Items Due to the custom nature of our products (which are made-to-order based on your specific map coordinates, names, and dates), we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Since each item is unique to you, we cannot resell it to another customer. Please be sure to double-check your size, text spelling, and design details before placing your order.

Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In the case of a manufacturing error or shipping damage, we will happily provide a free replacement or a refund. To start a claim, please contact us at contact@maphoodie.com with a photo of the issue and your order number.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items As mentioned above, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items like map tees).
  • Wrong size selection (please refer to the size guide before purchasing).
  • Buyer's remorse (change of mind).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you generally have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. However, under EU Consumer Rights Directive, this right of withdrawal DOES NOT apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized.

Therefore, for our custom map products, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply, and all sales are final unless the product is faulty.

Refunds If your return is approved due to a defect or damage, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Returns Address Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without contacting us first. To start a return for a damaged item, contact us at contact@maphoodie.com to receive the correct return instructions.
